Intro / I’m currently in the process of migrating my work to my website, which means things are a little in-between right now. In the meantime, here’s a curated collection of projects I’m most proud of - showcasing the kind of thinking, craft, and impact I bring to my work.

01 Project Reference

Description

Capitec was migrating to a new banking system for in-branch service consultants. The goal was to streamline internal processes and create a seamless omnichannel experience between the mobile app and physical branches. I was brought in to design the Credit Application experience for the new system.

Problem

The existing banking system and mobile app used different data structures, preventing session continuity across channels. Additionally, the credit application process itself was lengthy and frustrating for both clients and consultants. My role was to streamline the experience while aligning the branch and digital ecosystems.

Impact

My design synchronized the data architecture across channels and significantly reduced application friction. Beyond the initial brief, I identified and solved several operational bottlenecks through on-site observations and system analysis.

Unfortunately, I’m not at liberty to share sensitive details or assets from the project, which I fully respect. However, I’m always happy to discuss the work at a high level.

02 Case Studies

Pumpkn Lenders Portal Design

Description

Pumpkn already had a live platform in place, but it primarily functioned as a proof of concept. They needed to rapidly evolve the product into a credible beta platform that felt usable, trustworthy, and investor-ready. To minimise development overhead, we kept the existing Google Material UI framework and reused components wherever possible.

Problem

The startup was in high-stakes negotiations with potential investors. To secure funding, they needed to demonstrate a credible, scalable, and highly usable product that looked like a finished market entry rather than a prototype.

Impact

The redesigned platform demonstrated operational clarity, and commercial potential. It included role-specific dashboards tailored to operational responsibilities, dynamic data tables with advanced filtering and search capabilities, scalable client account management, automated transaction flagging, and improved data visualisation for faster insights. Shortly after the project wrapped, the company successfully secured investment from two new partners.
